Sunday

Started off with the usual pootle along the beach only found one bit of sea glass though. Went in the cafe for toast and hot chocolate. Riley had a great time as usual despite the indignity of chasing the seagulls and finding them totally unconcerned by him.

 

Came home and spent a bit of time woodburning in the shed.

Watched a disappointing game of rugby from england while crocheting a bit more of the baby blanket for my friend.

FRIDAY :)

Thank god it got here. Issue 3 of Simply Crochet mag has been picked up for me by the mother. Like the blankets and the triangle buntin has to be done, i do like bunting. Might have a go at the egg basket. If i finish the blankets for my friends baby due in may i may attempt the baby shoes too. I'm crocheting her a shell pattern blanket and a mahoosive granny ripple blanket which is mahoosive because it hasnt shrunk like it was supposed to.

And i really want to have a go at this cardy

Beadercollie

Well hello again i can still get in today. Perhaps if i make more effort google and i won't fall out again.

So why Collieflower well largely cos thats all i could think off and something i would remember as i love collies and can be a bit of a vegetable at times! My previous blog was beadercollie which is because i'm also a beader that loves collies. I'm also Cazz.

This is a picture someone did for me many moons ago of my previous collie Woody, sadly lost at only 7 to a brain tumour. Broke my heart and i think a bit of me went with him. But i now have Riley who is half collie and half springer, fantastic mix in my opinion. He has just turned 8.

He's quite stinky this morning having rolled in fox shit! Why does that have to smell sooooooo strongly. Bounced around eating rabbit shit too.

We both LOVE trolling along the beach. Its always great to find driftwood and sea glass. This is a lovely bit of driftwood i found sunday morning combined with some of Tan Greys lollipop beads. Didn't like to hurt the driftwood by drilling it. This is going to be a hangythingmy for the craft shed. I picked up some nice sea glass too but i'm never sure what to do with that

Trying Again

Well here i am again giving this blogging malarkey one last chance since the last effort went arse up several times. If this doesnt work then thats me done. Anyhoo...

Monday again have to go to work but would much rather stay home mooch about with the dog, play in the craft shed or crochet. Ho hum
